Teasing New Music for “Trolls Band Together”

Hints of NSYNC’s comeback have gained traction, fueled by posters spotted in NYC bearing the group’s iconic logo. These rumors have gained momentum in conjunction with the upcoming animated film, “Trolls Band Together,” in which Justin Timberlake reprises his role as Branch in the third installment of the “Trolls” franchise. The film also boasts a star-studded cast, including Camila Cabello, Troye Sivan, Kid Cudi, and more.

If these speculations hold true, it will mark NSYNC’s first musical collaboration since 2002. During that period, the group covered “When You Wish Upon a Star” for the Disneymania compilation album and released “Girlfriend,” featuring Nelly, which soared to No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. This single served as the concluding track on their 2001 chart-topping album, “Celebrity,” which also marked their last studio LP.

Remaining Silent About “Trolls Band Together” Due to Strikes

Unfortunately, NSYNC will not be able to discuss “Trolls Band Together” during their reunion due to ongoing strikes led by SAG-AFTRA and WGA. These strikes are pushing for increased streaming residuals, enhanced job security for writers, larger writers’ rooms, and restrictions on the use of AI in screenwriting and background acting, among other demands.

A Decade Since Their Last VMA Reunion

This highly anticipated reunion at the VMAs coincidentally marks a decade since their last appearance on the awards show’s stage in 2013 when they united for Justin Timberlake’s Video Vanguard Award medley. In 2019, Chasez, Kirkpatrick, Fatone, and Bass made a surprise appearance during Ariana Grande’s headline Coachella set, performing “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored” and “Tearin’ Up My Heart,” albeit without Timberlake.

Pursuing Solo Ventures and Collaborations

While fans eagerly await new music from NSYNC, the individual members have been actively pursuing solo ventures and collaborations. Just recently, Fatone teamed up with Bow Wow for an adorable rendition of The Jackson 5’s “ABC” during the launch of Season 10 of “The Masked Singer.” Earlier this year, Timberlake was featured on Coco Jones’ “ICU” remix and appeared alongside Timbaland and Nelly Furtado on “Keep Going Up.”

NSYNC’s Billboard Success

NSYNC’s illustrious career is punctuated by their impressive chart success. They’ve secured six top 10 hits on the Hot 100, including “Bye Bye Bye” (No. 4), “This I Promise You” (No. 5), and “It’s Gonna Be Me” (No. 1, two weeks). On the Billboard 200, the boy band has notched four top 10 titles, including the No. 1 albums “No Strings Attached” (eight weeks) and “Celebrity” (one week).

Fans and music enthusiasts alike can hardly contain their excitement as NSYNC prepares to once again grace the stage of the MTV Video Music Awards, promising a memorable and thrilling reunion.
